PROGRAM

Here you can find the information about the program of the training. If you have further questions do not hesitate to contact us.

Dates: 15 – 20 January 2025

Location: La Esperanza Youth Camp, Tenerife

Main Objectives:

Outdoor education

Our project embraces the power of learning in nature. Through activities such as astronomy and night sky observation, hiking, and nature-based learning, participants connect with the environment in meaningful ways. Storytelling workshops bring science and culture together, making education engaging, creative, and memorable. This combination of hands-on experiences and narrative skills helps young people develop curiosity, teamwork, and a deeper appreciation for the world around them.

Environmental Awareness

We aim to inspire participants to become ambassadors for the planet. By reflecting on the challenges our environment faces, from local ecosystems to global climate change, they learn how individual and collective actions can make a difference. Activities like beach clean-ups, nature walks, and heritage interpretation encourage a responsible approach to nature, fostering respect and care for our shared resources.

Intercultural Exchange

Bringing together youth from different countries creates a unique environment for cultural learning. Participants share traditions, languages, and personal experiences, breaking stereotypes and building friendships that cross borders. This intercultural dialogue not only strengthens mutual understanding but also promotes European values of inclusion, diversity, and cooperation.

Sustainable Tourism

Our project also promotes tourism practices that benefit local communities and protect natural and cultural heritage. By combining outdoor education with sustainable travel principles, we encourage participants to explore destinations responsibly. This approach creates a positive impact on the environment, supports local economies, and ensures that future generations can enjoy these landscapes and traditions.
